Choose a PNG, JPEG, or WebP under 10 MB and up to 40 megapixels. The tool reduces large images to at most 1,600 pixels on the longest side, removes light pixels, and trims empty space around the remaining ink.

The checkerboard in the result preview marks transparent areas; it is not printed into the downloaded image. A transparent signature PNG can sit on a document without a white box. Use the original and result previews to check that every stroke is still visible.
What this remover can handle
It works best with dark handwriting on plain white or light paper. It uses local image processing, not AI. Colored backgrounds, heavy shadows, patterned paper, and very faint ink may remain or lose detail. Adjust the ink preservation control, disable cleanup, or retake the photo.
