Your document contents stay on your device. Signfolio’s browser tools and iPhone app process signatures, PDFs, and images locally. Website analytics and app purchase services are separate from document processing.

Documents and signatures
Files selected in the browser are processed in the current browser session. We do not upload their contents to our servers or send document contents, signature images, typed signature names, or filenames through our custom analytics events. Closing the tab releases the session; downloaded copies remain wherever you saved them.
The iPhone app stores signatures and editable document copies in its private local storage. App-managed files are protected while the device is locked and excluded from automatic backup. There is no app-managed document cloud sync. Files or Photos providers may download an item from their own cloud storage when you select it. Exporting or sharing creates a copy at the destination you choose, subject to that provider’s practices.
Website analytics and hosting
We use Google Analytics to understand visits and tool usage, including page views, tool starts, successful exports, error categories, and App Store link clicks. Google may process cookie identifiers, browser and device information, referral information, and usage data. Our custom events use fixed categories, not your file contents. Google signals and advertising personalization signals are disabled in our tag configuration.
Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website and may process network information such as IP addresses and request metadata for delivery, reliability, and security. See Google’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Browser cookie controls and Google’s Analytics opt-out tool offer additional controls.
App purchases
Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat supports the iPhone app’s purchase validation, access status, and restoration using an anonymous app identifier and purchase-related records. Documents and signature images are not sent to RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Read Apple’s privacy policy and RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
Support and permissions
If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and anything you choose to attach. Please avoid sending sensitive documents unless necessary for a specific support request. Camera permission is used when you choose scanning or capture in the app; Apple’s photo picker lets you select individual images. You can manage permissions in iPhone Settings.
Use, sharing, and retention
We use service data to operate and secure Signfolio, understand website performance, provide purchased access, respond to support, and meet applicable obligations. Service providers process data for these purposes. Information may also be disclosed where legally required or necessary to protect rights and security. We do not sell your documents or signatures.
Local app data remains until you delete it or delete the app. Temporary app import/share files expire after one day and are cleaned on a subsequent launch. Support, analytics, and purchase records are retained according to their operational purpose, configured provider retention, and applicable legal requirements; they are not all erased by uninstalling the app. Providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States.
Your choices and requests
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or receive a copy of personal information, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us to exercise these rights. We may need proportionate information to verify and locate your records. See data deletion instructions for local files, support records, and purchases.
Children and policy changes
Signfolio is not directed to children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied personal information so we can investigate and address it. We may update this policy as the service changes; the date above identifies the latest revision.
